How published THC figures compare
Strain databases publish a single figure or a range: Leafly lists 17%, AllBud 15–25% and Weedmaps 13–25%.2,3,4 Seed sellers advertise 18% (Humboldt Seed Organization), 20% (ILGM, and up to 20% for FastBuds' autoflower), 15–20% with up to about 25% in top phenotypes (DNA Genetics) and 22% (Crop King Seeds).5,6,7,8,9 In state lab results, 90% of Green Crack flower tested below 23.36% and 3.3% reached 25% or more, so the 25% figures describe the top end of the range rather than typical flower.1

Limits of this data
- Coverage is uneven: WA (748), MD (212), NV (146) and MI (72) supply most tests, and WA alone supplies 60.5%. Oregon and Rhode Island results carry no product names and could not be matched.
- Some labs report higher THC than others, so we publish medians and middle ranges rather than maxima. No single lab accounts for more than 23.5% of these tests (37 labs in total).
- Terpene medians come from 167 tests with individual terpene values, 146 of them from Nevada labs. Maryland reports only total terpenes, and Washington, Michigan and Hawaii report none.
- We matched names strictly: Green Crush and Green Cush count as Green Crack, while crosses, CBD versions and other near-miss names are excluded and counted, and duplicate certificates are removed. In Washington a test counts only when both the strain field and the product name say Green Crack; 815 uncorroborated flower rows were left out.
