Growing Green Crack: flowering time, yield and breeder specs
Green Crack is a fast finisher: Leafly gives 7–9 weeks of flowering and Weedmaps 49–56 days, while seed versions list about 8–10 weeks indoors and an outdoor harvest from late September to early October.1,2,3,4,5,6 Seed sellers and Leafly’s grow guide rate it easy to moderate.3,5,6

What the plant is like
Accounts differ on size. Weedmaps, citing online sources, says the plant grows short and vegetates quickly, with small, densely clustered buds, while Leafly's grow guide says it grows tall and fast before flowering and advises staying on top of trellising.2,3 Humboldt Seed Organization describes a fast-growing, high-yielding plant with a Christmas-tree structure.4,9
Leafly's grow guide notes an extremely strong smell and a preference for temperatures between 70 and 90°F; Leafly's strain page gives 70–80°F at 50% humidity. The guide adds that its fast flowering makes it popular indoors because it allows more harvests a year.1,3
What to watch for
Sources disagree on mold. Humboldt Seed Organization calls its version resistant to mold and pests, while DNA Genetics says growers have found Green Crack susceptible to powdery mildew when humidity is high or airflow poor, which it links to the density of the buds.4,6 Leafly recommends excellent air circulation and clearing lower branches.1
Seeds and the law in the US
Under the amended federal definition of hemp, viable seeds from cannabis plants above 0.3% total THC, including THCA, are not hemp.10 Congress delayed that exclusion, with most of the new definition, from Nov 12 to Dec 11, 2026; only the exclusion of products with cannabinoids the plant cannot produce naturally starts on Nov 12.11 Home cultivation rules are set by each state. This site does not sell seeds.
