Energizing or sleepy?
Energizing. Leafly places Green Crack on the energizing side of its calming-to-energizing scale, and both Leafly users and AllBud describe energy and focus rather than sedation.1,2 A GreenState reviewer described feeling “locked in rather than high”.7 According to Weedmaps, Snoop Dogg reportedly chose the name for what he saw as potent, sativa-like effects.8
The same reports carry a caution: anxious and paranoid are among the top negatives on Leafly.1
Why two batches can feel different
Potency alone varies widely: one in ten lab-tested batches came in under 14.39% THC and one in ten above 23.36%.9 Seed versions also list different genetics, from Skunk #1 × Afghani to autoflowering lines, and the name lives on in offspring such as Super Green Crack and God's Green Crack (see genetics).3,5,6,10,11
